I began my journey with MAG Finance in 2011 as a Sales Executive
and was promoted to Branch Manager within a year, thanks to the
company’s trust in my potential. With constant guidance from the
management and MD Sir, I led the Baramati branch from ₹1 crore to
₹25 crore outstanding over ten years.
In 2022, I was promoted to Area Manager, now overseeing eight
branches. MAG has always prioritised employee well-being—from
financial support during personal hardships to full medical coverage
during COVID, and even international rewards for performance. I feel
proud to be part of MAG’s inspiring journey—from 8 branches and ₹20
crore in 2011 to 75 branches and ₹500+ crore in 2025.

Purpose of the Job

Key Responsibilities
- Drive the business strategy for assigned territory and grow the market share across Direct, Alliance and DSA channel.
- To work with sales team in implementing business strategy in the assigned Territory.
- Driving servicing, Operation, collections, compliance and regulatory requirements for the assigned territory.
- Candidates with more than 5 Years of experience in BANK/NBFC/OTHER BFSI sector with Credit operations, Team leading, managerial & Sales background.

Area Manager – Satara Region
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day control and operations of the gold loan branches under his area, ensuring efficient and effective functioning, and contributing to the growth and profitability of Mag Finserv Co Ltd. The role involves managing a team, building customer relationships, achieving branch targets, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee the overall functioning of the gold loan branches
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Control and supervise staff under his area , providing leadership and guidance.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Address customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Implement strategies to attract and retain customers.
Business Development & Sales : Gold Loan
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch targets and objectives.
- Explore opportunities for business growth and expansion.
- Identify and capitalize on market trends and customer needs.
Operations: Gold Loan
- Oversee the processing of gold loan applications and approvals.
- Ensure accurate appraisal and valuation of gold assets.
- Monitor the loan portfolio and take necessary actions for timely recovery.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on branch performance, targets, and key metrics.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all transactions and customer records.
Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments, such as Risk Management and Compliance, to ensure adherence to guidelines.
- Collaborate with Mag Finserv Co Ltd as a Business Correspondence, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
Qualifications and Experience
Any graduate plus Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in gold loan operations, with at least 8 to 10 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of the gold loan industry, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
